Needed this post more than I realized, Kate! Thank you for your honesty, for the powerful Haiku and for that picture of a most adorable dog! Those EYES! Blessings and MUCH LOVE! ~Wendy๐
I felt that selfie in my bones! From my couch to yours, I hope youโre taking care of yourself through this harsh season Kate. Spring will come again ๐
Thank you, Conny! We're getting less and less snow each year, but there is still quite a bit here. Even when I'm in a miserable place, I hope I will never take it for granted.
"snow is not a job" this is such a great point. i was thinking the other day about what we're all aiming for-- a perfectly optimised day? where we'll wake up and feel everything perfectly? it's never going to happen and it does become a job at that point. i'm so tired of the endless striving!
I think about Allie's ALOT ... a lot. (I'm also thrilled to continue to receive your newsletter. Thank you for writing and sharing. Your words are their own small magic.)

I enjoyed your beautiful words about snow. It only snows for about 10 minutes every year where I live. Thanks Kate!

I love that haiku. Your posts make the world better. And I, too, want to meet that dog.
Don't they look wonderful? And wise?

Yes!!!! So many layers of excess and pointless suffering layered over the very real difficulties we already have.
